Applies to: Agencies building their own marketing website

How should I write my agency website, and what should I tell the AI assistant to build it?

Lead with the outcome and who it is for. The top section (hero) that everyone sees first should state the result in plain words for the type of business you serve, for example "Get more service appointments booked for your HVAC business." The outcome is always more appointments, more sales, more leads or more revenue. Ideally a visitor knows what you do within half a second.

Everything below the top section explains how you deliver it, for example a 24/7 AI answering service, database reactivation campaigns and social media management, each tied back to the outcome.

Avoid vague filler such as "best in class business solutions" or "advanced intelligent solutions to accelerate growth", because visitors cannot tell what you do. We also recommend not opening with pain questions such as "Are you missing calls?" or "How much does a missed call cost you?", because visitors have to imagine the consequence and connect the dots. State the result directly, and put the missed call explanation or audit lower on the page as the why or the how.

Start with a simple one page landing page with Book a call as the main call to action. When you ask the AI assistant to build it:

  1. Describe your agency name, your ideal client and the main outcome for the top section.
  2. List how you deliver it, for the sections below.
  3. Ask for great images, entrance animations and an interactive effect if you want them, and name the main call to action, for example Book a call.
  4. Tell it which skills to use: design taste (removes the typical AI look), humanizer (removes signs of AI writing), conversion rate optimization and copywriting.
  5. Tell it to ignore any existing website projects in your account and create a new one, and say not to ask more questions if you want it built straight away.

To redesign an existing site instead, give the AI assistant the link, tell it to keep your images and logo, change all the text to focus on the outcome, and use the conversion and copywriting skills. The website is hosted in Votel on your white label.
